The Tarrazu region is located south of San Jose at the more remote lands up the Pirris River basin. Known for acidic soil and fertile growing conditions, the region is second to none in the coffee which is grown there. This selection is a distinguished coffee that carries a spicy fragrance and complex aroma, giving it a balanced flavor with a fresh finish.
This particular coffee bean has a sweet and acidic flavor, a smooth and light body, a medium to high acidity, and a clean aftertaste. Our espresso blend also includes portions of Costa Rican and Indonesian Sumatra coffees, to produce a truly exceptional espresso you can't find anywhere else.
